Better Protection
"Please forgive me if this has been posted before, but the time remaining on my Anti Norton subscription has come to an end and I’ve been looking for a replacement for it. So I was wondering if there is a better alternative to Norton out there or should I just stick with Norton and renew my subscription. This computer mainly for personal use, I browse the web, I only play Wow on it and keep my downloading to a minimum if possible. So anything that can protect my computer from any of those activities is preferred. Something simple that can detect viruses, run scans, find key loggers and provides good web protection. And also something that is easy on my PC performance. Any suggestions would be appreciated. There is no 100% form of protection. You could have it set up so your password is only visible during the third full moon that falls after the equinox and you still might be compromised. It is part of the game of being connected to the internet. You can however dramatically decrease your risk doing some of the following: 1) Firefox browser, with the No Script add on. Stop using Internet Explorer, please. 2) Get an antivirus, keep it updated and use it. AVG has been linked, frankly I think it is not all that sh'it hot, but hey, its free. wow goud 3) Don't click on links. Unless you know the person and trust them implicitly. Lot of people get hit by links that are designed to compromise you and have their info stolen. wow oro I don't care how tempting the information might be, just don't. The free version of avg antivirus is antivirus only, but you can download there free keylogger as well. I am not sure about spy. I use there personal suite which you pay for, but has antivirus, antimalware, keylogger, firewall etc.
or wow I have been using this for 2 years on three computers without having any problems, but i do follow bodhisattva's advice above i.e using firefox with noscripts and not trusting any links I am unsure of there origin. " "I never really understood what the different battlegroups in BGs mean. Some common ones I see on my server(Gilneas) are Malygos and Eredar. world of warcraft powerleveling Looking at my WoWArmory page recently, it looks like I'm in the Vindication group. I never really noticed being in the group before, and my name in BGs usually just shows SavageSlayer without anything after it, while others will have the hyphenated battlegroup appended onto their names while chatting. What do these groups mean. eve isk Can you change yours. Should I aim to be in a certain one. Whenever I ask anyone in game about it, I never get any response. I think you're thinking of that person's server. The name after a person's toon name is that person's server.
